Important Blueberry Message

Important information about picking up blueberries!
IT'S FORECASTED TO BE 98F ON BERRY DAY. I DON'T KNOW THAT THEY WILL LAST UNTIL EVENING WITH THIS HEAT. I CAN'T KEEP THEM IN MY HOUSE BECAUSE MY DOORS WOULD BE OPENING ALL DAY LONG LETTING OUT THE COOL. PLEASE HAVE SOMEONE PICK THEM UP IF YOU CAN'T BY EARLY AFTERNOON. I WILL DO MY BEST HAVING THEM IN THE SHADE, BUT THEY WILL SPOIL VERY QUICKLY. THEY MUST BE SEPARATED AND REFRIGERATED OR PUT IN THE FREEZER IMMEDIATELY WHEN YOU GET THEM HOME. IF YOUR BERRIES ARE SOUR THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS FOR BERRIES PICKED UP AFTER 12 PM. My address is 573 SE 6th Ave, Hillsboro, OR 97123

One Month Storage Starter Kit

If you haven't gotten started on your storage yet this is a great way to do it!




Starter Kit/One Month Kit at LDS Home Storage Centers

Available for purchase are pre-packaged Starter Kits (one month basic food storage for one person) for $18.70 at the LDS Home Storage Centers.
The Starter Kit will have 6 – #10 cans:
2 Red Wheat
2 White Rice
1 Pinto Beans
1 Quick Oats

Included in the kit are 2 Bottles of water, and instructional pamphlets (oil and salt are no longer part of the Starter Kit).

To meet the recommended basic long-term food storage for one year, a person would need a total of twelve Starter Kits.
